Öğe Morphologic and Molecular Diagnosis of Some Leucoagaricus Species and Revealing a New Record from Turkey(Selçuk Üniversitesi, Mantarcılık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi Müdürlüğü, 2019) Dizkırıcı, Ayten; Kalmer, Ayşenur; Acar, İsmailMembers of the genus Leucoagaricus (Agaricaceae) grow in the temperate climatic zone of the world. Only 10 species have been identified up to now in Turkey even though 238 Leucoagaricus species are listed in Mycobank database. In this study, the taxonomic positions of four species, Leucoagaricus subvolvatus, L. barssii, L. subcretaceus and L. leucothites, are discussed by evaluating morphological and molecular evidences and L. subvolvatus is approved as a new record for Turkey mycobiota. Internal transcribed spacer region (ITS) of each studied species is sequenced to resolve phylogenetic relationship and microscopic and macroscopic features of new record are described in detail.Öğe Morphology and Phylogeny reveal a new record Gyromitra for Turkish mycobiota(Selçuk Üniversitesi, Mantarcılık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi Müdürlüğü, 2018) Acar, İsmail; Kalmer, Ayşenur; Uzun, Yusuf; Tekpınar, Ayten DizkırıcıIn the current study, Gyromitra brunnea Underw. belonging to the family Discinaceae was recorded for the first time from Turkey. Two candidate samples were described by using both morphological and molecular data. Short description of the newly reported species was given together with its photographs related to macro and micromorphologies and discussed briefly. Additionally, phylogenetic position of Gyromitra brunnea was indicated in the phylogenetic tree constructed based on the sequence of 28S (LSU) rRNA gene.Öğe Phylogenetic and Taxonomic Studies on Cortinarius caerulescens (Schaeff.) Fr. a New Record for Turkish Mycota(Selçuk Üniversitesi, Mantarcılık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi Müdürlüğü, 2019) Kalmer, Ayşenur; Acar, İsmail; Tekpınar, Ayten DizkırıcıCortinarius caerulescens (Schaeff.) Fr. was given as a new record for the Turkish macromycota from Şemdinli district of Hakkari province, Turkey. Short description of the newly reported species was given together with its photographs related to macro and micromorphologies and described briefly. In addition to macro/micro characters, DNA sequences of nrDNA ITS (Internal Transcribed spacer) and LSU (D1/D2, Large subunit) regions were used to support the recognition of the studied specimen as a new record.
