Özet
Kâ'b b. Mâlik Medineli Hazrec kabilesinin Benî Selime kolundandır. O, İslâm Tarihinin ilk dönemlerinde önemli işler yapmış bir sahabidir. İkinci Akabe Biatı'na katılmıştır. Hz. Muhammed'in katıldığı bir çok savaşa katılmış, savaşlarda kılıcıyla mücadele ettiği gibi şiirler söylemek suretiyle de mücadele etmiştir. Söylediği şiirler sebebiyle Hz. Muhammed'in övgüsüne mazhar olmuş ve Peygamber Şairi diye isimlendirilmiştir.
Kâ'b b. Mâlik belonged to Medina Hazrec tribes of the Benî Selime arm. In the first period of Islâm he did many important businesses. He joined second Akaba negotiation and also took place many wars which Prophet Muhammed participated. He served to muslims also with his expressions and poems not only in battlefield. Because of his poems Prophet Muhammed praised him and he was called the prophet of the Prophet.
