Özet
Bu çalışmada biyodizel üretiminin yan ürünü olan gliserin kullanılarak yeni polimerik materyaller sentezlendi. Katalizör olarak HCl kullanılarak, maleik anhidrid, gliserin ve nişastadan polimer sentezi gerçekleştirildi. Polimerin moleküler ağırlığı ve diğer fizikokimyasal özellikleri analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca gliserinin silikajele bağlanmasıyla absorbant materyali sentezlendi ve sebacic asit ile gliserinin esterleşme reaksiyonundan poliester sentezlendi. Sentezlenen polimerler sayesinde atık gliserin, yeniden değerlendirilerek, kullanılabilir hale getirildi.
In that study, polymeric materials were synthesised by the use of glycerin which is product of biodiesel. The synthesis of polymer from starch, glycerin and maleic anhydride using HCl as catalyst was carried out. Molar mass and other physicochemical properties of this polymer was analyzed. Also, the absorbent was synthesised by silica gel modification with glycerin. And, polyester was synthesised by esterification reaction of glycerin with sebacic acid . Thanks to the synthesis of polymers waste glycerin was appraised.
