Özet
Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de oldukça tanınmış bir isim olan Evliya Çelebi’nin yine oldukça tanınmış eseri Seyahatnâme’sinde Tatvan ve çevresi ele alınmaktadır. Evliya Çelebi (1611- 1682), gezip gördüğü diğer pek çok yere ek olarak Tatvan ve çevresini de gezip görmüş ve Anadolu hakkında önemli bilgiler veren ve pek çok konuda tek yerli kaynağımız olan Seyahatnâme’sinde kendine özgü üslup ve metoduyla Tatvan ve çevresini tasvir etmiştir. Makale, Seyahatnâme’den hareketle bir Tatvan ve çevresi okumasını konu edinmektedir.
The present study aims to try to understand Tatvan and its vicinity considered with its many aspects in Evliya Çelebi’s (1611-1682) Seyahatnâme (Travel Book) which gives important informations about Anatolia and is our only domestic source regarding a lot of subjects. The importance of this study results from both Tatvan and its vicinity’s own special characteristic and Evliya Çelebi’s Seyahatnâme’s own special consideration way of the aforementioned places like the other subjects, especially its description way of everyday life, and historical, religious and cultural situation in the places considered by it. In short, this article’s subject is a reading of Tatvan and its vicinity with moving from Seyahatnâme.
