Özet
Bu yüksek lisans tezi, Sosyal Medyanın Yıkıcı Çatışmalardaki Rolü: Sudan'da Uygulamalı Bir Çalışma başlığı altında gerçekleştirilecek bir araştırmayı temsil etmektedir. Tezin amacı, Sudan'daki üniversiteler ve medya kuruluşlarında görev alan 18 yaş üstü bireyler arasında sosyal medyanın yıkıcı çatışmalardaki rolünü anlamak ve bu medyanın çatışma dinamikleri üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektir. Araştırma, nicel bir yöntem olan anket tekniğini kullandı ve evreni temsil edebilecek şekilde çeşitli demografik özelliklere sahip 500 katılımcıyla gerçekleştirildi. Veri analizi istatistiksel yöntemlerle yapıldı ve elde edilen bulgular, Sudan'daki yıkıcı çatışmalarda sosyal medyanın rolüne dair bilimsel bir perspektif sunarak toplumsal etkileşimlerde ve çatışma yönetiminde potansiyel iyileştirmeler önermeyi amaçladı.
This master's thesis represents research to be conducted under the title The Role of Social Media in Destructive Conflict: An Applied Study in Sudan. The aim of the thesis is to understand the role of social media in destructive conflicts among individuals over the age of 18 working in universities and media organisations in Sudan and to examine the effects of these media on conflict dynamics. The research utilised a quantitative method, the survey technique, and was conducted with 500 respondents with various demographic characteristics to represent the population. The data was analysed using statistical methods and the findings provide a scientific perspective on the role of social media in destructive conflicts in Sudan, aiming to suggest potential improvements in social interactions and conflict management.
