Özet
Eğitimimizin konusu ve öğretmenlerimizin malzemesi, geleceğimiz olan çocuğun çevresine etkin ve olumlu bir biçimde uyum sağlamasında Hayat Bilgisi dersinin önemli bir yeri vardır. Çünkü Hayat Bilgisi, çocuğun zihinsel, duygusal ve sosyal yönlerden gelişmesine yardım eden ilköğretim birinci devre derslerinin bel kemiğini teşkil eder. Hayat Bilgisi dersi sadece bazı bilgilerin yüklendiği bir ders değil, öğrenciyi hayata hazırlamayı, bireyin sağlıklı gelişmesini ve uyum sağlamasını hedefleyen bir derstir. Çocuğun yetişmesinde önemli yeri olan bu derste öğretmenin başarılı olması öğrencinin neleri öğrenmeye ihtiyaç ve ilgi duyduğu ile bunların nasıl kazandırılacağını bilmesi yanında, öğrencinin davranışlarını anlaması ve fiziksel, zihinsel ve duygusal gelişimini iyi bilmesine bağlıdır.
The course "Knovvledge of Life" has an important part on the active and positive adoption of child, being our future and the product of our teachers and subject of our education to his environment. Because "Knowledge of Life" is the center of courses in the first term of elementary education and it also helps the child develop himself in several respects such as mental, emotional and social ones. This course is not any a course in which is certain knowledge are loaded but also a course aiming the child to be ready for life, to develop well and adopt to life. In this course, which in crucial in the child's training, the success of the teacher depends on his recognising the student's physical, mentol and emotional development and understanding his behaviours. In addition, the teacher should know well what the student is interested in and what he needs.
