Özet
Bu makalede, Kırgızların ilk millî alfabesi ve bu alfabeyle oluşturulmaya çalışılan yazım kuralları ele alınmıştır. Söz konusu alfabe ve yazım kuralları, o döneme ait beş eser taranarak tespit edilmiş, örneklerle açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Ana konuya girmeden evvel, Kırgızların 1920li yıllara kadar süren edebiyatları ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiş, Kırgızların bu yıllara değin süren eğitim serüvenleri açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Böylelikle ilk alfabe ve yazım kurallarının nasıl bir dönemde ve durumda oluşturulduğu daha net anlaşılacaktır. Sonuç bölümünde, Arap harfli ilk Kırgız alfabe sistemi ile bugünkü Kiril kaynaklı Kırgız alfabe sistemi mukayese edilmiş; hangi sistemin daha millî ve Kırgız ses yapısına uygun olduğu gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır.
This article explains the first national alphabet of the Kyrgyz and its spelling rules in reference to five different works from the early times of the Kyrgyz language and literature. To start with, a brief survey of the Kyrgyz literature until 1920s and the educational and political processes are explained so that a better understanding of the conditions under which the early alphabet and spelling rules were used. The results are attained on the basis of a comparison made between the first Arab-letter Kyrgyz alphabet system and the current Cyrillic Kyrgyz one, to find out which system is more suitable for the phonological characteristics of the Kyrgyz language.
