Özet
We present a case of posttraumatic histopathologically proven subcutaneous fat necrosis demonstrating intracystic floating fat balls detected with ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging. To date, floating fat balls within fluid appereance has not been reported in subcutaneous fat necrosis. Also, we discussed similarities or discrepancies in radiologic features between nodular cystic fat necrosis and Morel-Lavallée lesion. © 2008 Elsevier Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
