Özet
Sanayileşme ile birlikte üretimi hız kazanan otomotiv günümüzde en popüler sektörler arasında yer almaktadır. Otomotiv ana sanayi ve otomotiv yan sanayi yarattığı katma değer, sağladığı istihdam ile üretici ülkelerin ekonomisinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu çalışmanın çıkış noktası otomotiv yan sanayi sektörünün Konya ekonomisindeki mevcut durumunu incelemek, Konya ekonomisindeki önemini ortaya koymak ve sektördeki sorunları tespit ederek bunlara çözüm önerileri sunmak olmuştur. Çalışma kapsamında Konya otomotiv yan sanayi sektöründe faaliyet gösteren firmaların üst düzey yetkilileri ile görüşmeler gerçekleştirilerek anket çalışması uygulanmıştır. Anketlere verilen cevaplar neticesinde bir içerik analizi yapılarak elde edilen veriler yorumlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda firmaların kurumsallaşma, finansal yeterlilik, nitelikli işgücü ve AR-GE konularında eksikleri olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte firmaların istihdam, katma değer, ihracat ve markalaşma konularında göstermiş oldukları gelişme dikkate değer bulunmuştur.
Automotive production accelerated with the industrial revolution. Today, the automotive main industry and the automotive sub-industry have an important place in the economy of producing countries with the added value and employment they create. The starting point of this study is to examine the current situation of the automotive supply industry sector in Konya's economy, to reveal its importance in Konya's economy, to identify the problems in the sector and to offer solutions. Within the scope of the study, a survey was conducted by interviewing the senior officials of the companies operating in the Konya automotive supplier industry. As a result of the answers given to the questionnaires, content analysis was made and the obtained data were interpreted. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the companies have deficiencies in institutionalization, financial competence, qualified workforce and R&D. In addition, the progress made by companies in terms of employment, added value, exports and branding is remarkable.
