Selçuk ve Dicle Üniversitesi öğrencilerinin siyasal katılma davranışları üzerine uygulamalı bir çalışma

Özet
Toplumsal örgütlenme içinde insanın kendini gerçekleştirme çabası, birey- toplum-devlet döngüsü içinde belirmektedir. Bu çaba neticesinde, toplumsal bir varlık olarak insan ve toplum etkileşimsel bir boyut kazanmaktadır. Toplumsallaşma birey- toplum temelinde başlayan bir süreç olarak zamanla kurumları aracılığıyla devlet mekanizmasını da sürece dâhil etmektedir. Tarihsel süreçlerin getirdiği ve toplumsal ilişkiler bağlamında sürekli yeniden üretilen siyasal kültür aracıları ile siyasal toplumsallaşma sağlanmaktadır. Siyasal toplumsallaşmanın en temelde bireylere kazandırdığı bilinç; vatandaşlık ve toplumsal sorumluluktur. Bu bağlamda siyasal katılım siyasal duruş, tutum ve tavırlara işaret eden davranışlardır. Bu çalışma üniversite öğrencilerinin siyasete ilgi düzeylerinden, siyasal gündemi takibine, siyasal eğilimlerinden Türkiye'de siyasal gelişmelere ilişkin tutumlarına, siyasal katılımı etkileyen faktörlerden siyasal katılım davranışlarına uzanan süreci ele almaktadır. İki bölümden oluşan çalışmanın, birinci bölümünde siyaset, siyasallık, siyasal kültür ve siyasal toplumsallaşma, siyasal katılma ve siyasal katılımın gençlik boyutu teorik olarak ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde, Dicle Üniversitesi ve Selçuk Üniversitesi öğrencilerine yönelik bir anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Anket uygulaması 353 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiş ve elde edilen veriler çapraz tablolar, ki-kare ve T-testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.
In a social organization, human's struggle for self-actualizing appears within the cycle of individual-society-state. As social beings, human and society gain an interactional dimension as a result of this struggle. Socialization, as a mechanism that originates from the individual-society basis, includes state mechanism to the process in time. With political culture mediators, which are brought by historical processes, and are constantly re-produced in the context of social relationships, political socialization is possibly provided. The political socialization incorporates individuals, at the very basis, two things; the conscious of citizenship and the conscious of social responsibility. In this regard political participation is a behaviour which indicates political position/conduct/manner. This work covers university students' interests towards politics from their interest level to tracing political agenda, from their political tendencies to their behaviour towards political life in Turkey, from factors which effect political participation to behavioural process of political participation. The study has two parts. In the first part; politics, being political, political culture and political socialization, political participation and its youth dimension have been discussed theoretically. In the second part of the study, a questionnaire was conducted to Dicle and Selçuk University students. The questionnaire was conducted to 353 students and the data gained were analysed by cross-tab, chi square test and T-test.
