Özet
Günümüzde bilgi teknolojilerini etkin bir şekilde kullanan işletmeler rekabet açısından ön planda yer almaktadır. İşletmeler bilgiyi elde etmek, bilgiyi geliştirmek, bilgiyi paylaşmak ve değerlemek için bilgi teknolojilerinden etkin olarak yararlanmak durumundadırlar. İşletmelerde kullanılan bilgi teknolojisi, verimlilik alanında olduğu kadar etkinlik ve yenilik yapma süreçlerine de katkılar sağlayan rekabetçi bir kavramdır. Bu araştırma, Mersin ilinde faaliyette bulunan KOBİ sahip/yöneticilerine yönelik, bilgi teknolojileri kullanımının işletme yönetimine sağladığı katkıları belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Nowadays, businesses using information technologies have some advantages in terms of competitiveness. In order to utilize the information technologies effectively, businesses should acquire, improve, share and evaluate the information. Information technology in a business contributing effectiveness and innovative processes as well as productivity is a competitive concept. The purpose of this study is to determine the contributions of the information technologies to business owners/managers of SMEs in Mersin.
