Bu çalışmanın birinci bölümünde Troas Bölgesi'nin tarihi coğrafyası ve tarihçesi, ikinci bölümde Alman araştırmacı ve bilim adamları tarafından yürütülen kazı çalışmaları, üçüncü bölümde ise bölgede gerçekleştirilen yüzey çalışmaları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir
