Romanın üçüncü bölümünde ise, Cumhuriyet'in ilanının on dördüncü yılından sonraki, yani 1937'den sonraki Ankara ve Türkiye anlatılır.
Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu's Ankara novel, which was published in 1934, consists of lhree parts. In the first part, Yakup Kadri narrates about Ankara in the years of National Struggle. During the National Struggle, this Ankara is full of heroic inteltectuals who are fond of their own country, and ready to make a sacrifice of their own life for their natlon and land without hesitation. On the other hand, in the second part, the situation has changed dramatically. in this part, the writer stories the dramatical changes and corruptions in some of the idealist intellectulas of Struggle time, after the declaration of the Republic of Turkey. Here, the gap between the masses and those intellectulas who take roles between natives and foreigners as brokers, who speculate land selling processes as hagglers, who think that in order one to be a westemer should be wear like them and have fun like a westemer is presented ironically by the writer. [n the third part, Ankara and Turkey Is presented in the time after the fourteenth-year of the Republic, that is the time after 1937. This part's Ankara and Turkey, as is mentloned by himself as a dream, is a utopian city and country where everything has been ameliorated one more time, and ali problems have been solved again.
