Özet
Selçukluların Anadolu’da kolaylıkla ve rahat bir şekilde ilerlemesinin bir takım nedenleri vardır. Bunların başında Bizans İmparatorluğu’nun zor durumda olması gelmektedir. Çünkü Bizans, Anadolu halkına karşı ayrımcılık yapıyor ve bu topraklardaki orduyu ihmâl ediyordu. Bu durum ise savunma sistemini zayıflattı ve Selçukluların Anadolu topraklarındaki fetihlerini kolaylaştırdı. Ayrıca Çağrı Bey’in Anadolu’ya bir sefer düzenleyerek bu sefer vasıtasıyla Anadolu hakkında bilgi edinmesi, Anadolu fetihleri açısından mühim bir gelişmeydi. Diğer taraftan Selçukluların sahip oldukları Türkmen gücü de onların Anadolu’da ilerlemelerine yardımcı oldu. Zira Türkmenler çok iyi savaşçılardı. Öte yandan Selçukluların hoşgörü sahibi olmaları da önemli bir husustu. Zira Anadolu halkı Selçukluların hoşgörüye dayalı idarelerini bizzat tanıdılar ve bu idareyi benimsemekte sakınca görmediler. Bütün bunlar Selçuklu hâkimiyetinin Anadolu topraklarında yerleşmesinde önemli rol oynadı.
Seljuks had some opportunities so that they had gone forward more comfortable and easier in the land of Anatolia. At the beginning of these opportunities, the Byzantine Empire was in a difficult situation. Because the Byzantine applied the discrimination against people of Anatolia and neglected the army in the land. This is stiuation weakened the defense system and Seljuks conquest in the land of Anatolia would be easier. Also Cagri Bey organized an expedition to Anatolia and Seljuks took information about Anatolia through this expedition. This information was very important to Anatolia conquest. On the other hand Seljuks had Turkmens power which helped them to go forward in Anatolia. Because Turkmens were good fighters. The other important thing is that the Seljuks had tolerance towards the events. Because the people of Anatolia recognized the tolerant administration of Seljuks and they adopted this administration. Briefly Seljuks played an important role that the settlement of Turkish domination in the land of Anatolia.
