Özet
Bu çalışma, ölüm olgusunu Din Sosyolojisi açısından ele alan, Konya il merkezinde ölümün nasıl algılandığı ve ölüm olgusuna bağlı olarak yerine getirilen ritüellerin bağımsız değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler çerçevesinde tespit etmeye çalışan betimsel bir araştırmadır. Çalışmamızda ölüm olgusuyla beraber, ölüm olgusuna bağlı ritüeller ile ölüm olgusunun sosyal boyutu ele alınmıştır. 565 örneklem grubu üzerinde uygulanan araştırmamızın veri toplama aracı gözlem, mülakat, inceleme ve tartışma sonucu geliştirilen anketlerdir. Bu anketlerden elde edilen veriler, Selçuklu, Meram ve Karatay ilçelerinde katılımcı gözlemci olarak yaptığımız gözlemler eşliğinde yorumlanmıştır. Konya il merkezinde gerçekleştirmiş olduğumuz çalışmamızın verilerine göre, ölüm olgusuna bağlı olarak toplumsal hayat içerisinde gerçekleşen ritüellerin, genel olarak örf ve adetlerin etkisi altında olduğu görülmektedir. Ölen kişiye fayda sağlaması için yapılan birçok uygulamanın ebeveynden nasıl görüldüyse aynen taklit edildiği ve neden yapılmasının gerektiği sorgulanmayıp, ölen kişi için gerçekleştirilmesi gereken son görevler olarak görüldüğü tespit edilmiştir. Bu durum, cenaze ile ilgili yapılan uygulamaların her safhasında yaşanmaktadır. Genel anlamda, hem bireysel olarak insanı, hem de toplumsal hayatı büyük oranda ilgilendiren ?ölüm? fenomeni üzerinde durulmuş ve ölüm olgusunun sosyal yaşam üzerindeki tezahürleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.
This is a research that is related to the phenomenon of ritual death, is tried to determine relation between the independent variables in the center of Konya province.
