Özet
This research has been conducted to determine the heavy metal accumulation in the water and sediment samples taken from Suğla Lake, which is one of the most important water sources of the Konya region. In this study, maintained in 2009-2010, the heavy metal accumulation has been examined seasonally within the time span of a year. At the end of the reseach it was concluded that the heavy metal(Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn) accumulations in the samples of water and sediment show significant differences statistically between the seasons(p< 0,05). The heavy metal measurement values in the water and sediment samples have been found to be under the level of the acceptable limits.
