Özet
Bu tezin amacı; günümüze kadar birçok düşünür tarafından tartışma konusu edilen, entelektüelliğe eleştirel bir yaklaşım geliştirerek, İzzetbegoviç'in eserlerini ve düşünce dünyasını bu yaklaşım çerçevesinde incelemektir. Her toplumum kendine has düşünce geleneğinin olmasına rağmen, neden entelektüel kavramının genel geçer bir kavram olarak kullanıldığı sorunsalı üzerinde durulacak olan bu çalışmanın birinci bölümde entelektüelliğin tarihsel arka planına ve eleştirisine yer verilecek, ikinci bölümde ise İzzetbegoviç'in düşünce dünyası değerlendirilerek, bir entelektüel olarak nitelendirilmesinin imkânı tartışılacaktır.
The aim of this study is to offer a critical approach to intellectuality which is a matter in question for many thinkers till today and to investigate İzzetbegoviç İzzetbegovic?s works and his intellectual world in the light of this approach. In the first part of this work which focuses on the question why the notion of intellectual is widely used though each society has its own tradition of intellectual endeavor, the historical background and criticism of intellectuality will be provided; and in the second part the intellectual world of Aliya İzzetbegovic will be evaluated and the possibility of describing Aliya İzzetbegovic as an intellectual will be discussed.
