Total 41 milk samples belonging to 23 different national milk brands were analyzed. These samples categorized as whole milk, light milk and fruity milk. Generally, C 16:0, palmitic acid, was major fatty acid in all samples. Other predominant fatty acids were C 18:1, oleic acid, and C 18:0, stearic acid.
