Bu nedenle tasarımcılar, toplum üzerinde önemli etkiye sahiptir.Tasarımcı, tasarım süreci ve sonuçları, toplumu ve doğayı etkilerken etik ilkeler de tasarımcıyı,tasarım sürecini ve sonuçlarını etkilemektedir. Bu bağlamda tasarım disiplinleri açısından etik, genişkapsamlı bir kavram olup kritik öneme sahiptir. Tasarımcı için etik davranmak, sorumlu olmayı vesorumluluk almayı gerektirmektedir. Son yıllarda tüm Dünya’da yaşanan sorunların çözümü, etikkararlar almayı gerektirirken tasarımcının sorumluluklarını da artırmaktadır.Bu çalışmanın amacı; peyzaj tasarımında etik kavramının önemine ve tasarımcının sorumluluklarınadikkat çekmektir. Bu amaca yönelik olarak etik, meslek etiği ve sorumluluk kavramları açıklanmış;ulusal ve uluslararası ölçekteki meslek örgütlerinin belirlediği etik ilkelere değinilmiştir.Tasarımcının etik açıdan çevresel ve sosyal sorumlulukları ile bu sorumlulukları kapsayan tasarımyaklaşımları açıklanmış; Türkiye’de peyzaj mimarlığında tasarım açısından meslek etiğiningeliştirilmesi için önerilere yer verilmiştir.Design, as an action and a profession, appears in every field of life and is even located at thecenter of life. For this reason, designers have an important influence on society. While thedesigner, design process and outcomes affect society and nature, the ethical principles alsoaffect the designer, the design process and its outcomes. In this context, in terms of designdisciplines, ethics is wide-range concept and has a critical importance. Ethical behavior for thedesigner requires being responsible and taking responsibility. In recent years, the solution ofproblems occurring all over the world requires taking ethical decisions and at the same timeincreases the responsibilities of designer.The purpose of this study is to draw attention to the importance of the concept of ethics inlandscape design and the responsibilities of the designer. For this purpose, ethics, professionalethics and responsibility concepts have been explained; the ethical principles set by professionalorganizations in national and international scales have been addressed.
