It is born, lives and dies within its own history. The book is a means of communication that will exist for a certain period like other objects. It is coming to its end due to the dominance of visual culture. Society has gradually evolved into an obscurantist structure with the invention of photography and due to this writing has begun to lose its place among means of communication. A new culture which is not dominated by reading is at the same the harbinger of the new human. Most known cultural features that are believed to be universal will come to an end.
