This study shows that pinealectomy in ovariectomized rats leads to a significant increase in leptin levels. Estradiol and progesterone supplementation in pinealectomized and ovariectomized rats partly reversed the increase in leptin. Melatonin supplementation completely reversed the increase in leptin.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessEffects of pinealectomy and melatonin and steroids supplementation on leptin levels in ovariectomized ratsArticle862138140Q4
