With the political transformation of secular republic, the incidents experienced in 1960s are, in this sense, of great importance from the societal perspective. The subject specifically provides a base for discussing the decisions made by DP-driven Presidency of Religious Affairs' Consultation Board and the important information regarding the content of the changes experienced from today's viewpoint. In this article, some social and technological issues concerning the board in the given period have been evaluated.
