Arazide Standart Penetrasyon Testi (SPT) çalışması yapılmış, laboratuvar deneyleri ile zemin örneklerinin fiziksel-mekanik özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Çalışma alanının deprem etkisinde geoteknik parametrelerinin ve buna bağlı zemin taşıma gücü değerlerinin değişimi araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca deprem etkisinde zemin parametrelerinin değişeceği düşüncesiyle, zeminin içsel sürtünme açısından yola çıkılarak yapıların tasarımına teşkil edecek taşıma gücü parametreleri incelenmiştir.Kaynaşlı (Düzce), significant segments of the North Anatolian Fault zone around Mudurnu two bifurcated Düzce fault zone in the northern segment, with the first one Plio-Quaternary depositional characteristics of the seismic zone area.
