Besides, because of the nature of the assessment, linguistic terms are utilized for the criteria values. These terms are represented by picture fuzzy sets in this paper to handle the impreciseness and vagueness in the linguistic assessments. Interval-valued picture fuzzy TOPSIS has been used to determine the optimum wind turbine alternative. IVPFSs based TOPSIS method has been used for the first time in this study for wind turbine selection.
