In the book, the struggle of the intellectuals with the constipation seen in the society in the face of the changes experienced in the world in these centuries is explained and literature is expressed as existence for the intellectuals. The work focuses on the functions of literature such as giving meaning to life, accounting for life, and taking the appropriate attitude towards changes.
