Çalışma, Konya ilinin Selçuklu ilçesinde bulunan 9'u devlet 5'i de özel olmak üzere toplam 14 ilköğretim okulunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öncelikle, hem öğrenci hem de öğretmenlerin ürün dosyası hakkında gerekli bilgi ve deneyimlerinin ve bu konu hakkındaki görüşlerinin belirlenebilmesi için iki ayrı anket hazırlanmıştır. Bu ankette, Fen ve Teknoloji dersinde uygulanan ?Ürün Dosyasının Tanımı, Amacı, İçeriği, Hazırlama Sürecinde Öğretmen, Ürün Dosyası Çalışmalarında Öğrenci, Ürün Dosyası Çalışmalarında Veli ve Ürün Dosyasının Uygulanması? şeklinde 7 gruptan oluşan öğretmenlere 55, öğrencilere ise 51 sorudan oluşan anket uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca ürün dosyası uygulaması hakkındaki ilave etmek istedikleri görüşleri de üç ayrı açık uçlu soru ile belirlenmiştir. Bu anketler 2006?2007 Eğitim-Öğretim yılı 2.yarıyılında Konya Merkez Selçuklu ilçesine bağlı 14 ilköğretim okulunda 3 aylık sürede 1097 öğrenci ve 61 öğretmene uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen veriler SPSS istatistik programında analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda özet olarak; 1. İlköğretim 4., 5. ve 6. sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji dersine giren öğretmenlerin ürün dosyası hakkındaki görüşleri değerlendirilmiş ve öğretmenlerin ürün dosyası anketinde yer alan ürün dosyasının amacı, içeriği, öğretmenin ve öğrencinin yeri konularında bazı eksiklikleri olduğu gözlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin büyük çoğunluğu velilerin bu konuda kısmen yetersiz ve ilgisiz kaldıklarını düşünmektedir. 2. İlköğretim 4., 5. ve 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin Fen ve Teknoloji dersinde uygulanan ürün dosyası hakkındaki görüşleri değerlendirilmiş ve ürün dosyasının tanımı, içeriği, öğretmen, öğrenci ve velinin görevleri, uygulama ile ilgili yeterli bir bilgiye sahip olmadıkları sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır. 3. İlköğretim 4., 5. ve 6. sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji dersine giren öğretmenlerin mesleki kıdemlerine göre ürün dosyası hakkındaki görüşleri değerlendirilmiştir. Buna göre ürün dosyasıyla ilgili birçok konuda benzer düşüncede oldukları sonucuna varılmıştır. 4. İlköğretim 4., 5. ve 6. sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji dersine giren öğretmenlerin mezuniyet durumlarına göre ürün dosyası hakkındaki görüşleri değerlendirilmiş buna göre anketin tüm sorularında ?Kendi Alan Mezunu? ve ?Diğer Fakülte Mezunu? öğretmenlerin görüşleri arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunamamıştır.This study had aimed at to examine the views and the thoughts of the students and the teachers about portfolio who have and teach Science and Technology class at 4th ,5th and 6th grades. This study had been applied to 14 elementary schools, five of which are private and nine are state schools in Selçuklu, administrative district of Konya province. First of all, two different kinds of inquiries had been prepared to determine the necessary knowledge, experience and the views of both the teachers and the students. In this inquiry, there are seven groups of questions with the titles ?The Definition, Aim, and the Content of Portfolio, Teacher at The Process of Preparation, Students at Portfolio Studies, Parents at Portfolio Studies and the Practice of Portfolio. 55 of these questions were applied to the teachers and 51 of these questions were applied to the students. Besides, the views about portfolio which they wanted to add were determined as three different open ended questions. These inquiries were applied to 1097 students and 61 teachers in 14 elementary schools of Selçuklu, one of the central administrative districts of Konya during three months in 2006-2007 Education Year. The data acquired form the study was analyzed by SPSS statistic programme. As a result of this study as a summary; 1. The views of the teachers who teach Science and Technology at 4th, 5th and 6th graders of Elementary Schools were evaluated and determined that the teachers were lacking knowledge about the issues of the aim and content of the portfolio and the position of the teacher and the student. Most of the teachers had thought that the parents are inadequate and apathetic about this issue. 2. The views of the students at 4th ,5th and 6th grades about portfolio which are practiced at Science and Technology class were evaluated and determined that they did not have enough knowledge about the definition and content of portfolio and the role of the teachers and the students at portfolio. 3. The views of the teachers who teach Science and Technology at 4th,5th and 6th graders had been evaluated according to their seniority. As a result it was found that they thought almost the same about many issues about portfolio. 4. The views of the teachers who teach Science and Technology at 4th,5th and 6th grades about portfolio had been evaluated according to their graduation levels.
