Selçuk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji kliniğinde 72 hastanın 106 ayağı posteromedial gevşetme metodu ile cerrahi olarak tedavi edildi. Hastalardan 19'u kız, 53 'ü erkek idi. Hastalardan 58 'inin en az 6 ay, en çok 7 yıl 3 ay (ort. 26.4 ay) takipleri yapıldı. 4 hastanın 7 ayağında nüks meydana geldi. Klinik ve radyolojik değerlendirme sonrasında %81 çok iyi, %11 iyi, %8 kötü sonuç elde edildi.Pes Equino varus is a complex congenital deformity which is diffucult to treat. Its definite cause is still unknown although there exists several theories. 106 feet of 72 patients were operated using posteromedial release in Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine, Orthopedics and Traumatology clinic. 58 of the patients were followed between 6 to 87 months (avg 26.4). There had been 7 recurrences in 4 feet.
