The current literature includes reports on the conditions related with rearrangements of chromosome 4 and 7. Herein, we describe a rearrangement between these two chromosomes, which is the first presentation of a specific translocation t(4;7)(q31;p15) and its consequent phenotype following de novo rearrangement of the chromosomes. It brought into light phenotypic similarities with other aberrations following breakage from adjacent band loci.
