DOI: 10.1080/155331791080202050094-5714https://dx.doi.org/10.1080/15533179108020205https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12395/16119In this study, five new bis(aminophenylglyoxime(s)), 1,4-phenylenebis(aminophenylglyoxime), 1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-bis(aminophenylglyoxime), 1,1'-dipehnyloxy-4,4'-bis(aminophenylglyoxime), 1,1'-diphenylmethylene-4,4'-bis(aminophenylglyoxime) and 1,1'-diphenylethylene-4,4'-bis(aminophenylglyoxime), have been synthesized from anti-chlorophenylglyoxime and the corresponding aromatic diamines. Their polymeric complexes with Cu(II), Ni(II) and Co(II) have been obtained. The Cu(II) and Ni(II) complexes of these ligands are square-planar while the Co(II) complexes are octahedral with water molecules as axial ligands.
