The genera Angelica and Xanthogalum were selected as outgroups. Unweighted pair group method with arithmetic mean (UPGMA) and Principal Coordinate Analyses were conducted to view the molecular relationships. Johrenia alpina, J. depauperatum and J. aurea are transferred to the genus Dichoropetalum.
