There are studies concerning electrophysiological of changes in neurotransmitter levels. Considering the possibility that serotonin activity might have electrophysiological reflection as dopamine, sumatriptan succinate, a serotonin agonist, was injected subcutaneously during migraine attacks. In this study; VEP(Visual Evoked Potentials) was recorded 120, 180 and 240 minutes after sumatriptan injection. VEP amplitudes on these times were found to be higher than those recorded before the injections (p<0,01).eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessMigraineSumatriptanVisual evoked potentialsReflection of cerebral serotonin activity on visual evoked potential in patients with migraineArticle123191195N/A
