Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Konya il merkezindeki okul öncesi eğitim kurumuna devam 5 ile 6 yaş arasındaki toplam 224 çocuk ile onların ebeveynleri oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, “Aile Bilgi Formu”, “Barnett Çocuk Sevme Ölçeği” ve ‘OSBED (Okul Öncesi Sosyal Beceri Değerlendirme Ölçeği) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programı kullanılarak Pearson korelasyon katsayıları hesaplanmış ve doğrusal regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre okul öncesi 5-6 yaş çocukların sosyal becerileri ile ebeveynlerin çocuk sevme düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Regresyon analizi sonuçlarına göre ebeveynlerin çocuk sevme düzeyleri çocukların sosyal becerilerini pozitif yönde ve anlamlı bir şekilde yordamaktadır.The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the social skills of 5-6 year old children who attend pre-school education and their parents' liking of children. Correlational survey model was used in the research. The sample of the study consisted of 224 children between the ages of 5 and 6 who attend a pre-school education in Konya city center and their parents. "Family Information Form", " Barnett Liking of Children Scale " and "OSBED (Preschool Social Skills Assessment Scale)" were used as data collection tools in the study. Pearson correlation coefficients were calculated using the SPSS package program and linear regression analysis was performed in the analysis of the data. According to the results of the research, a positive and significant relationship was found between the social skills of preschool children aged 5-6 years and their parents' liking of children.
