Reverse-flow sural island flap is a reliable alternative for repairing these regions' defects. Delayed reverse-flow sural island flap procedure was applied for 11 smoker or diabetic patients who have tissue defects due to trauma. While we haven't seen flap failure in any patient, we also didn't have any difficulty except 2 minor problems. Besides clinical results, patient satisfaction was evaluated with "patient satisfaction rate scale".
