Dams are used for many purposes like, irrigation, flood control, drinking and energy production. In recent years, by the help of the technological development, a great number of large dams have been constructed in the world. Turkey has more than 500 large dams. Despite the great advantages of this kind of large dams, the failure of the dams may cause major destruction. For this reason, monitoring of the dams is crucial which provide to determine whether the structure was built in accordance with the project or not and whether it behaves reliable or not. In order to monitor dams, a great number of methods are available. However, these methods can be classified into geodetic and geotechnical methods. In this paper, deformation monitoring of Ermenek Arch Dam using geodetic and geotechnical methods are mentioned. Technical detail of conventional geodetic networks (horizontal and vertical) and geotechnical instrumentation and data collection strategy are described.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessarch damdeformationgeodetic methodgeotechnical methodDEFORMATION MONITORING STUDIES IN ERMENEK ARCH DAMConference Object119+N/AWOS:000349067300016N/A
