Immunohistochemically, some markers, such as carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), of the intermediate filament proteinscytokeratin, and superficial antigens of hepatitis B virus was investigated, and alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) was founded be positive.Bu raporda, 4 yaşındaki bir koyunda belirlenen HSK' olgusu tanımlandı. Makroskobik olarak, karaciğerin sağ lobunda grimtırak beyaz renkte, 1,7x1,5x1cm boyutlarında ve sınırlı soliter tumoral bir kitle görüldü. Mikroskobik olarak, tümör hücreleri genellikle solid yapılar, kimi bölgelerde de hepatik kordonlar oluşturmuştu. Tümör, az diferensiye solid HSK olarak teşhis edildi. Immunohistokimyasal olarak, tümör markerlerinden alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), karsinoembriyonik antijen (CEA), sitokeratin ve hepatit B virusu yüzey antigeni (HbsAg) araştırıldı.
