It is important to study the nitrogen mineralization of organic waste so as to understand the nitrogen cycle in soil. During the decomposition of organic waste in this article, the nitrogen mineralization that occurred in agricultural soils and carbon content was investigated. This experiment was conducted under laboratory conditions using a sandy clay loam treated with garbage composts, poultry manures, wheat straw and sewage sludge at the rates of 0, 20 ton ha(-1) . The water content of the soil samples was adjusted to 60 % of field capacity. According to the experimental results, the impact of organic waste, the type of waste and ranged, depending on the time of incubation, was found statistically significant (P<0.01).
