On the other hand among the hardest situations for local candidates are to manage to draw attention, to differ from others and to be elected. Political parties and local candidates make some different topics considered important for them a current issue to draw attention of the voters so as to be elected. But, what is considered important by voters and to what extend are questions that need answering and researched. In our research aiming to place this situation on a scientific basis based on research data, the voting criteria of educated voters in local elections are emphasized. A face to face survey was conducted on 455 students from Selcuk University Communication Faculty.
