Gastrointestinal sistemin anormal kanalizasyonu sonucu oluşurlar. GİS boyunca herhangi bir yerde görülebilirler, fakat en sık sağ posterior mediastene yerleşirler. Tesadüfen çekilen PA akciğer grafisinde patoloji saptanan bayan hasta kliniğimize 20 yaşındaki yönlendirildi. Sağda ekstrapulmoner yerleşimli paravertebral bölgede, azygoözefageal resese uzanan kistik yapıdaki lezyon sağ torakotomi ile çıkarıldı. Histopatolojik tanısı özofagus duplikasyon kisti olarak raporlandı. Eşlik eden başka bir patoloji mevcut değildi. Bu çalışmada paravertebral yerleşimli kistik lezyonların ayırıcı tanısının yapılabilmesi ve literatür bilgileri eşliğinde duplikasyon kistinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı.Duplication cysts originated from gastrointestinal tract are congenital rare disorders. They occurs due to abnormal canalisation of gastrointestinal tract. However duplication cysts may seen in any localisation of the tract but they locate mostly on right posterior mediastinum. Twenty-year old woman was directed to our clinic when an abnormality was detected on incidentally performed chest X-ray. A cystic lesion was resected which was located on extrapulmonary right paravertebral region and lied through azygoesophageal recess by thoracotomy. Histopathologic examination revealed esophageal duplication cyst. There was no co-existing disease. We aimed to make differential diagnosis of paravertebral cystic lesions and to review the duplication cyst in the light of literature data.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessGenel ve Dahili TıpArticle1013538
