Bu takson, Türkiye miksobiyotası için yeni bir kayıttır.The myxomycete identified in this study has been found as natural sporocarp in Çorum during field work. At the result of the laboratory studies and literature reviews, this specimen is identified as Physarum auripigmentum G. W. Martin.
