Total energy requirement on EurepGAP certified producers group was 90,288.5 MJ/ha whereas 126,311.5 MJ/ha was consumed on uncertified producers group i.e. 29% higher energy input was used on uncertified producers than that of certified ones. The energy ratio of 0.79 and 0.72 were achieved on EurepGAP certified and uncertified tomato producer groups, respectively. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd.
