Their transition metal complexes with Ni(II), Co(II) and Cu(II) were prepared with a metal-ligand ratio of 1:2. The unsymmetrical complexes are in the anti form. The ligands and complexes were characterized by a combination of H-1 NMR, IR and elemental analyses.
