Bu çalışma Semih Kaplanoğlu'nun sinemasının sosyolojik özellikleri üzerinedir. Tez, onun filmlerini zaman, mekan, kişiler, zihniyet ve hayat tarzları çerçevesinde irdelemektedir. Bu açıdan onun beş filmi değerlendirilmektedir. Filmlerinden hareketle Semih Kaplanoğlu sinemasının genel özellikleri ve önemi tespit edilmektedir.Recently, one of the most important directors of Turkish cinema, Semih Kaplanoglu have attracted attention. His films have received many awards. His cinema is a special cinema. Language, fiction, story, visuals of his films are remarkable. Religious and spiritual elements in his films, as well as human and social elements stand out. Metaphors, symbols constitute a new reality. This study is on the sociological characteristics of Semih Kaplanoglu's cinema. The thesis is a discussion of his movies on the framework of time, space, people, mentality and lifestyle. In this respect, his five films is considered.
