Bu çalışmanın yapılmasının en etkin önemi, Beyşehir turizmi üzerinde birçok çalışma yapılmış olmasına rağmen, Beyşehir halkının turizm algısının daha önce bir çalışmada ölçülmemiş olmasıdır. Bu kapsamda Beyşehir ilçesinde bulunan 384 kişilik örnekleme anket çalışması uygulanmış ve veriler SPSS 22.0 paket program ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre yerel halkın, turizmin sosyo-kültüre, çevresel ve ekonomik etkilerinin algılarına yönelik nötr bir davranış sergiledikleri tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca yerel halkın turizmin gelişimine destek boyutu ile sosyo-kültüre, çevresel ve ekonomik algı boyutları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Demografik değişkenlerin turizmin gelişimine destek olma yönü ve görüşleri bakımından farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.This study aims to examine the impact of the Beyşehir local people on the development of the region in the presentation of cultural tourism and the view of the local people on cultural tourism. The most effective importance of this study is that although many studies have been conducted on Beyşehir tourism, the perception of tourism by the people of Beyşehir has not been measured in a previous study. In this context, a sampling survey study was carried out for 384 people in Beyşehir district and the data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 package program. According to the findings obtained, it has been determined that local people exhibit a neutral behavior towards their perceptions of the socio-cultural, environmental and economic effects of tourism. In addition, in seen that there is a significant relationship between the support dimension of local people to the development of tourism and the socio-cultural, environmental and economic perception dimensions.
