Twenty-nine of the thirty-six compounds were identified. The bulk of the oil is represented by methyl chavicol (78%). The content in this allylphenol appears to be higher than that normally found in die tarragon and basil oils. © 1992 Allured Publishing Corp.en10.1080/10412905.1992.9698146info:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessavocadoessential oil compositionestragoleLauraceaemethyl chavicolP. americanaPersea gratissimaVolatile Constituents of the Leaves of Persea Gratissima Gaertner.
