Peygamber (s.a) Kur'an'ın tamamını ashabına beyan etmiştir." şeklinde bir görüşün varlığından söz edilmekte ve bazı kaynaklar, bu görüşün İbn Teymiyye'ye ait olduğunu ileri sürmektedir. There are three aspects about how much did the Prophet Mohammad explain the Holy Quran. Whereas some scholars hold that the amount explained by him was restricted by only some certain verses, some others assert that his explanations were in proportion to what the addressee were in need. And finally, as another aspect, it is claimed that the prophet Mohammad explained the whole Quran for the companians, which is attributed to Ibn Teymiyyah by some sources.
