Mevlana öğretisi ve felsefesinin de etkisiyle araştırmacılar ve akademisyenler için bir cazibe merkezi haline gelmiştir. 1923-1931 yılları arasında faaliyet gösteren ve ülkenin iç güvenliği üzerinde söz sahibi olan Polis Teşkilatı’na yüzlerce polis yetiştiren Konya Polis Mektebi’nin Konya eğitim tarihi açısından önemi büyüktür. Bu çalışmada; V. Dönem mezunlarından A. Raşid Efendi’ye ait diploma ile çeşitli tarihlerde mezuniyet hatırası olarak çektirilen fotoğraflar incelenerek, unutulmaya yüz tutmuş olan Konya Polis Mektebi tanıtılmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca, araştırmamıza renk katması açısından torunlarından aldığımız bilgilere istinaden Konyalı ve Konya halkına hizmet vermiş ilk polislerden ikisinin biyografisi verilmiştir.In this study, the researcher examined the First Police School in Konya using ‘Document Analysis Technique’ with which the researcher analyzed some pictures, curriculum documents and some formal documents received from the archives of the Police General Directorate in Ankara. The researcher described the history of the school, curriculum of the school with the courses taken during the police candidates’ education, the issues of the entrance to the school, graduation from the school, and its closeness with the reasons.
