Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmada 5 dişi, 5 erkek olmak üzere toplam 10 adet erişkin Malakan Atı mandibulası kullanıldı. Mandibulaların yüzeysel kasları diseke edildikten sonra kaynatılarak masere edildi. Mandibula’dan digital kumpas yardımıyla toplam 34 adet ölçü alındı. Bulgular: Çalışma sonucunda erkek Malakan Atı mandibulası uzunluğu (U1) ortalama 393.64±2.41 mm, mandibula yüksekliği (U21) ortalama 253.20±4.56 mm, dişi Malakan Atı mandibulası uzunluğu (U1) ortalama 394.70±1.37 mm ve mandibula yüksekliği (U21) ortalama 249.65±0.99 mm olarak ölçüldü. Cinsiyetler arası yapılan istatistiksel analizde sadece iki processus coronoideus arasındaki mesafe (U25) farkının önemli olduğu görüldü (P< 0.05). Öneri: U25 (Processus coronoideus’lar arası en geniş mesafe) ölçüsü dışında belirlenen diğer morfometrik ölçülerin Malakan Atı mandibulasında cinsiyet faktörüne etki etmediği kanaatine varıldı.Aim: In the study it was aimed to determine in terms of gender morphometric values of adult Malakan Horse mandible. Materials and Methods: In the study, 5 male and 5 female Malakan Horses mandibles were used. After dissecting skin and superficial muscles of mandible, it was maceration by boiling. Thirty-four measurements were obtained from mandible by digital caliper. Results: Result of the study, the average of lenght (U1) of male Malakan Horse mandible was calculated as 393.64±2.41 mm, the average of mandible height (U21) 253.20±4.56 mm, the average of length of female Malakan Horse mandible 394.70±1.37 mm, the average of mandible height 249.65±0.99 mm. It was seen that the differences in only distance of two coronoid process (U25) was significant in statistical analysis presented between the genders (P<0.05).
