Öğe Effect of Xylazine-Ketamine and Diazepam-Ketamine Anesthesia on Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time, Prothrombin Time and Bleeding Time in Dogs(Ecole Nationale Veterinaire Toulouse, 2002) Oğurtan, Zeki; Ceylan, C.; İpek, H.; İzci, CelalThe effects of xylazine ketamine and diazepam-ketamine on activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), prothrombin time (PT) and buccal mucosa bleeding time (BMBT) were evaluated in dogs. Altered APTT, PT and BMBT values were found in xylazine-ketamine and diazepam ketamine anesthesia. Comparison of xylazine-ketamine to diazepam ketamine revealed a significant increase for APTT, PT at 30, 60 and 90 minutes and for BMBT at 30 and 60 minutes.
