    ADDITION OF A NEW GENUS FROM TURKEY INTO LIST OF FUNGI

    During the studies performed, a rare species known as decaying fungi was collected from Derebucak district (Konya) between 2005-2006, from altitude 1800 m. In the end of the laboratory process, this rare species was determined as Hydnocristella himantia (Schwein.) R. H. Petersen which grew particularly on died branches belonging to Abies species. The genus Hydnocristella R. H. Petersen is a new record for Turkish Mycota.

    Macrofungi distribution of Mut province in Turkey

    Macrofungi samples collected from different localities of Mut province in 1999-2001, particularly in the months of autumn and spring showed the occurrence of 95 species belonging to 46 genera and 28 families. Of these, 11 species belong to Ascomycetes and 84 belong to Basidiomycetes. Distribution and habitat features of identified species are given.

    New records for the Turkish macrofungi from Amasya province

    Macrofungi specimens were collected from different localities in Amasya province between 2002 and 2005, particularly during the months of spring and autumn. In all, 16 species were identified as new records; 1 species belongs to Ascomycetes and the other 15 species belong to Basidiomycetes. These new species are Hypoxylon multiforme, Polyporus melanopus, Hygrophorus pratensis var. pratensis, Hygrocybe ovina, Clitocybe ornamentalis, Hemimycena pseudocrispula, Mycena adscendens, Baespora myriadophylla, Entoloma mutabilipes, Parasola hemerobia, Conocybe blattaria, Psilocybe phyllogena, Inocybe squamata, Gymnopilus stabilis, Cortinarius evernius, and Galerina mycenoides.

    New records of corticioid fungi in Turkey

    A recent survey of wood-inhabiting Basidiomycota in Turkey has added 10 corticioids to the Turkish mycobiota; included are first records of the genera Boidinia and Leptosporomyces in the country. All collected species are described and their distribution in Turkey is summarized. Microscopical line-drawings and ecological notes are provided.
