Öğe The effect of volleyball training program on students’ depression levels in private primary and secondary schools(2018) Bozkurt, İbrahim; Akandere, Mehibe; Erkmen, Gaye; Atak, Elif AycanThe purpose of the study was to investigate the the effect of volleyball training program, as a leisure activity, on students depression levels. The sample of the study consists of 202 students (intervention group), 201 students (control group). Eight weeks training program was prepared and conducted at the intervention group. This study was a pretest posttest experimental research design with control group. The data of the research were collected with demographic information form and Depression Scale for Children. To revealed that whether there were differences between pretest and posttest depression scores of intervention and control groups ANCOVA analysis was conducted. Results revealed that there was a significant difference between students pretest and posttest depression scores of intervention and control groups (p .000). According to ANCOVA findings, students of intervention and control groups’ pretest depression scores were controlled, there were significant differences between intervention and control group students’ posttest depression scores (F(2-400) 821.24, p .000). It was revealed that volleyball training program have an impact on having a lower depression scores of the students in the intervention group than depression scores of the students in the control group. In this respect, in order to ensure that children are away from depression and to be healthier individuals in their physical and spiritual life, their educational processes should be supported by participating sport, physical activities and games. It is considered that students should be directed to various sporting activities by family, school administration and physical education teachers.Öğe Ergenlik dönemi öncesi ve ergenlik dönemi sonrası kız çocuklarında yetenek tarama test ölçüm sonuçlarının karşılaştırılması(Selçuk Üniversitesi, Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü, 2024) Atak, Elif Aycan; Aslan, HüseyinBu araştırma, ergenlik döneminin fiziksel değişimlerinin, özellikle yetenek tarama testi sonuçları üzerindeki etkilerini incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın katılımcıları, İsmil İmam Hatip Ortaokulu'nda görevli olan araştırmacı tarafından belirlenen örnekleme dayanarak seçilmiştir. Başlangıçta, 40 ergenlik dönemine girmemiş öğrenci ve daha sonra ergenlik dönemine girmiş 27 öğrenci (yaş 12,48±0,64 yıl, boy 153,15±7,73 cm ve vücut ağırlığı 49,21±13,40 kg) yetenek tarama testlerine tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışmada gençlik ve spor bakanlığı Türkiye sportif yetenek taraması ve spora yönlendirme programı protokolü uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, ergenlik döneminin yetenek tarama testi sonuçları üzerinde belirgin bir etkisi olduğunu göstermektedir. Ergenlik dönemine giren öğrencilerin boy, vücut ağırlığı, vki, pençe kuvvetleri ve sürat parametrelerindeki test sonuçları, ergenlik dönemine girmelerinden önceki sonuçlarına kıyasla istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir artış göstermiştir (p˂0,05). Sonuç olarak, ergenlik döneminin psikomotor ve fiziksel değişimlerinin spora yönlendirme programlarının tasarımı ve uygulanmasında dikkate alınması önemli olacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu değişimlerin etkilerini anlamak, öğrencilerin potansiyellerini daha iyi değerlendirmesine ve eğitim stratejilerini buna göre şekillendirmesine yardımcı olabilir.
